| Dr. John Garrett, LMT, is originally from Glendale, California, and Dr. Janet Garrett, LMT, was raised in Holden, Utah. We met at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah following John's two year LDS missionary service to Chile, South America. We were married in the Salt Lake Temple and are the parents of six children. John lettered on the BYU Varsity Track Team and also competed in the World Games held in Helsinki, Finland. John earned his university degrees in the following academic career majors: Education and Spanish, Counseling and Guidance, and Early Childhood. Dr. John Garrett, LMT, is also a graduate of Brigham Young University, Nova University, Viktor Frankl Institute of Logotherapy, Reese Institute School of Massage Therapy, and numerous other post-doctoral certification training programs. He is a Life Mission Trainer (LMT) and a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT). John has served as a Branch President, Seminary Teacher, on the BYU Stake High Council, and presently serves as an Ordinance Worker in the Provo Utah Temple. Janet has competed in over 100 track meets and road races throughout the USA, including four marathon races. She earned her university degrees in the following academic career majors: Education and Child Development & Family Relations, Counseling Psychology, and Behavioral Science. Dr. Janet Garrett, LMT, is also a graduate of Brigham Young University, Nova University, Viktor Frankl Institute of Logotherapy, Florida School of Massage, and numerous other post-doctoral certification training programs. She is also a Life Mission Trainer (LMT) and a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT). Janet has served as a Stake Missionary, Institute Instructor, Church Service Missionary at the Missionary Training Center in Provo, Utah, and presently serves as an Ordinance worker in the Provo Utah Temple. Dr. John Garrett, LMT, and Dr. Janet Garrett, LMT, are members of the BYU Tai-Chi Club and the American Tai Chi Association, teach Tai-Chi classes throughout Utah, serve as Co-Directors of the Garrett Mission Clinic, and are the published authors of the following media: Annual Life Mission Statements (Book & DVD), Gratitude With Love Journal (Journal), Life is A Mission (Book), Life Mission Basic Course (Study Course), Tai-Chi Life Training Program (Book & DVD), and Your Foreordained Mission (Book). |
